CERT 3 IN SPORTS COACHING

This qualification provides the ability to obtain the skills and knowledge to undertake coaching as a career. Specifically understanding the level of instruction, planning, conducting and evaluating needed for individuals and team training programs.

Those with this qualification would also supervise practice sessions and provide in competition assistance to athletes. It is the start of future endeavours

to allow you to become a high performance sporting coach.

CERT 4 IN SPORTS COACHING

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual intending to pursue a career as a coach at a regional or State/Territory level.

Likely functions for someone with this qualification include observing the performance of athletes to determine the required level of instruction, and planning, conducting and evaluating individualised and team training programs.

Those with this qualification would also supervise practice sessions and provide in competition assistance to athletes which, includes supporting their psychological preparation and conducting post competition analysis of both performance and strategy.

CERT 4 IN FITNESS

This qualification is specific to individuals who apply the skills and knowledge to pursue a career as a coach at a high performance level sporting team.

Individuals who perform this qualification will have the ability to observe elite athletes to determine the level of instruction required, and planning, conducting and evaluating high performance individualised and team training programs.

One will have the skill to supervise practice sessions and provide in competition assistance to athletes including supporting their psychological preparation and conducting post competition analysis of both performance and strategy.
